Lynn Weirich is a shareholder, cofounder, and president of Business Financial Group, LLC (BFG). Lynn oversees the firm’s operations and client service.  She and the Concierge Team at BFG personally onboard every new client, coordinating through implementation with each service team to assure successful outcomes.  She periodically meets with clients on an ongoing basis to be sure BFG is adapting and updating service initiatives as clients’ back-office needs grow or change.  Lynn also has specialized training and expertise in the areas of Group Benefits and Retirement plans and directly consults with clients and service teams in those areas.  She also oversees compliance.

Lynn studied business administration at Mississippi University for Women. In 1983, she entered the financial planning field as an analyst hired to create and manage some of the industry’s first insurance modeling software for individual PC workstations. She quickly moved into financial services and business management strategies. For more than 10 years, Lynn managed the largest financial services firm in San Antonio before founding BFG.

Lynn is also a founding member of the San Antonio chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-SA). She served as president of the organization in 1999-2000 and in recent years was invited to serve on the board in a variety of positions, including public policy director. With Lynn’s leadership in 1999, the chapter founded a teen mentoring and scholarship program that still exists today and has awarded over $240,000 of scholarships to young women hoping to start their own businesses. In 2017, Lynn was invited to serve at a national level on NAWBO’s Council on Healthcare, Pension, and Workforce Issues, which involves meeting with legislators in Washington, DC, to advocate on behalf of business owners.

In 2021, Lynn was invited to participate in the Board Development Committee for Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas, which is tasked with the recruitment for the board of directors as well as the selection of the Board Chair annually.  Additionally, this committee assists in the development of strategic learning and training of the board of directors.

Lynn received the NAWBO-SA Chapter’s Entrepreneurial Spirit Award in 2001* and the San Antonio Business Journal’s 2007 Women’s Leadership Award for Mentoring Leadership**. Recently, she was named the 2014-2015 NAWBO-SA Member of the Year. Lynn is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT)***, achieving Court of the Table and Top of the Table status multiple times.

When she is not at the office, Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, Bill, and their children and grandchildren at their ranch in Hondo.
