Carmen is a Client Service Specialist for BFG’s Employee Benefit Services. Carmen helps business owners and their employees interact with insurance companies by assisting with employee enrollments, bill reconciliation, and claims review. She also develops and creates employee education materials to help employers and their employees understand their health benefits. Carmen is also involved with BFG’s Be Fit & Sponsorship Committee, which coordinates our internal corporate wellness initiatives.

Prior to her role at BFG, Carmen held a position as an Auto Claims Adjuster at State Farm. She has also worked for several large health insurance companies as a Claims Liaison and a Senior Claims Appeals Coordinator. Carmen received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Thee Jackson State University. She is a Licensed Property & Casualty Adjuster as well as a Licensed Life, Accident & Health Agent. Carmen joined the BFG in 2023.

In her free time, Carmen enjoys hiking, reading, writing, and spending time with her daughter. She is an advocate for mental health and participates in community service when time permits.
