Jennifer Alvarez is a client service coordinator on BFG’s Employee Benefit Services team. Jenn helps to manage the underwriting and renewal process and coordination with vendors, prepares materials to help consultants explain BFG’s recommendations to clients, assists consultants with employee education and implementing benefit plans for clients, including conducting post-enrollment audits, and works with the team to field incoming requests from clients. She is also involved with BFG’s Sunshine & Holiday Committee, which manages the firm’s internal celebrations.
Jenn has an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and worked most recently at the District Attorney’s office. While working full time and raising a family, she pursued a Bachelor’s in Finance and Risk Management at St. Mary’s University in order to begin her career in the field. She started working at BFG in 2021.
Jenn is the mother of 3 (1 boy and 2 girls), which means that she is usually running around doing something. She loves shopping, watching movies with her family, trying new things (whether it’s a new food or activity) and being outdoors.
